Act of vandalism at the "Resurrection of Christ" church in Ksamil

An act of vandalism was recorded this afternoon at the "Resurrection of Christ" church in Ksamil. According to the representative of this religious building, Father Pandeli, the incident occurred when the church's caretaker went to close the doors and encountered two suspicious people.

One of them was inside the church and was damaging icons and other objects of worship, while the other stood outside and monitored the situation. As soon as they noticed the presence of the caretaker, both of them quickly left, threatening him.

Immediately after the incident, the caretaker notified the police, who intervened in time and made it possible to arrest two suspects near a bus station. According to sources, they are being questioned to clarify the circumstances and motives of this serious act.
