But Roan Brahimi, whose real name was Sidorel Prendi, had no idea that this was his last flight. Although perhaps he thought that he had created the right security conditions for himself, to avoid his enemies. An apparently false opinion, where the betrayal that may have followed him is not excluded, in his close people with whom he was associated during his stay in the United Arab Emirates, who may have been the suppliers of information for his opponents and that they seem to have taken good measures to put him in a box, from which he would find it difficult to get out alive. This box would be his close family, which for a long time, since his involvement in serious criminal events in Albania, he had decided to move to Greece.

This information was also available to his rivals, who apparently were all eyes and ears, on both sides, to properly observe the movements. Both in Dubai where he lived and in Athens where his wife and son lived. And apparently the right moment was not late. This is because longing for the family forced Roan Brahim to leave his safe haven in Dubai, and take the plane at the beginning of May, on the eve of the Orthodox Easter, and travel to Greece.

A surprise even for his wife, who told the investigators that she had no knowledge of his arrival in Greece. "I had no idea that my husband would come. This was a surprise he had prepared for us. Only when Saturday came, for Easter, and I saw him in the church", says Katerina Beqo. So according to his wife, Roan Brahimi is thought to have arrived in Greece on Saturday, May 4. Five days before he was shot dead on 'Bajron' street in the Vyrona area of ??Athens, by two people who approached the car he was driving on a motorbike. Where inside the car at this moment was his wife, identified as Katerina Beqo, with whom he also had a son. The woman who was shocked saw how two people with spacesuits on their heads, riding on a motorcycle, approached the driver's window and shot at the driver, who was her husband. "I was in the car with him, but I don't remember what happened. I only saw two people in spacesuits who approached on a motorbike and shot. Then I got out of the car", says Beqo.

This scene was also seen by their child. Who at this moment was in the playground near the place where the execution was carried out. And as soon as he saw his father's car, parked at the intersection of Mesolongji and Tsaldari streets, near the square, Lazarou ran to his side. Running, which was stopped by the two men with skullcaps, on a motorcycle, who shot at his father. A chilling moment for a child watching that scene of his father slumped behind the wheel of a car. The boy who was then taken by his grandmother, to leave the scene. A trauma that apparently will accompany him for the rest of his life. "That evening we had gone to pick up the boy at a playground. After we had left him in the company of his grandmother, my mother. The child saw everything. The boy was running towards us when the two men with skulls who were moving on a motorcycle shot two bullets at his husband. And the boy at this moment shouted: 'dad, dad'. Now my mother is taking care of the boy, while I am staying at home as I am not well at all", says Katerina Beqo./ CNA
