A serious incident occurred this evening in Thumanë, Kruja.
According to data, a 36-year-old man was hit by a vehicle and died from the impact.
The incident occurred at around 19:15. The victim is a citizen with the initials G.GJ.
The driver of the vehicle has been detained by the Police and further procedural actions are being carried out.
"On 17.02.2025, at around 19:15, in the village of Thumanë, Krujë, the vehicle driven by citizen DS, about 32 years old, hit the pedestrian citizen G. Gj., about 36 years old, who lost his life as a result.
"The driver of the vehicle is being escorted to the police station for further procedural actions," the Police statement said. /CNA
