Lezha, sexually abused a minor/ 38-year-old arrested

Lezha Police have arrested citizen S. Gj., 38 years old, resident of Milot, who is suspected of cattle theft and sexual relations with a minor.

His arrest was carried out as part of Operation "Transit", following investigations conducted by the Serious Crimes Section.

The 38-year-old is accused of stealing livestock in the village of Gajush and other areas of Lezha.

During the search of his apartment, police seized two vehicles, which are suspected of being used to transport stolen livestock. Investigations are continuing to fully unravel this case.

Police announcement:

"During the investigation, authorities also discovered that he had had sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl. A citizen is arrested for theft and sexual relations with minors. Two vehicles and other evidence are seized for the legal documentation of the acts committed by this citizen."

The Major Crimes Section at the Lezha Police Station, in continuation of the work to prevent, identify and solve cases of property theft and hold the perpetrators legally accountable, as well as based on the evidence collected, finalized the police operation codenamed "Transit", within which it was possible to capture and detain the citizen: Simon Gjoka, 38 years old, born and residing in Milot Kurbin.

The investigations conducted have revealed that citizen S. Gj is the author of several thefts of cattle in the village of Gajush, thefts that occurred in the first week of February 2025, and is suspected of having committed several other thefts in other villages, where work continues on their legal documentation.

During the search of his apartment, the police seized two vehicles used to transport cattle that this citizen stole in the villages of Lezha.
