100 valuables, 23 luxury watches and money/ 3 Albanians arrested for theft in

Blocked at the entrance to the accommodation where they were staying in Castelfidardo, Carabinieri officers from Osimo in Italy arrested three Albanian thieves.

According to Italian media, it is believed that the three Albanians are responsible for a series of thefts committed in recent hours between Val Musone and Vallesina.

The investigation began after an increase in thefts reported in the area in recent days.

The three citizens, traveling in a rented car, made several stops between Castelbellino, Cupramontana and Chiaravalle, following a route considered suspicious. Late in the evening, they returned to Castelfidardo and carried out a joint raid by the Osimo NORM, the local station and a SIO team from the 4th Carabinieri Battalion from Mestre.

Searches of homes and vehicles resulted in the seizure of approximately 100 valuable items, 23 watches, including luxury watches, designer handbags, 600 euros in cash, flashlights, a water hose, and various burglary tools.

Two sets of cloned license plates, traceable to identical vehicles, were also hidden in the car, used to evade checks. Investigations linked the stolen goods to thefts committed at the locations visited and to a December 14 robbery in Loreto, identified by the victims. All three were remanded in custody pending a hearing to determine the authorization. /CNA
