The President of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, has canceled the announced meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vu?evi?, in Belgrade.
The EC spokesman, Eric Mamer, confirmed the news for Radio Free Europe.
The spokesman said the reason for the cancellation was a meeting Vucevic held with Russia's Economic Development Minister Maksim Reshetnikov.
Earlier on Friday, the head of the EC met with the president of Serbia, with whom she talked about Serbia's path towards integration into the European Union.
Von der Leyen is in Serbia as part of her six-nation tour of the Western Balkans.
