Vučić's decision/ Mandates endocrinologist Gjuro Macu to form the new Serbian Government

Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? has chosen endocrinologist Gjuro Macut as the person mandated to form the new Serbian government. Serbian President Macut is mandated as the new Prime Minister of Serbia without the opposition's agreement with a mandate to form a transitional government by April 18.

Gjuro Macut has completed his specialization in endocrinology and is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade and deputy director of the Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases at the University Clinical Center of Serbia. He will replace Miloš Vu?evi?.

"Dr. Gjuro Macut, an extremely courageous man, very calm, prudent, tolerant, patient and perhaps the greatest specialist in the field of endocrinology from Vienna to Istanbul," said Vu?i?.

The Serbian President previously held consultations with parliamentary parties on the new government's candidate, which began on April 2./CNA
