Police officer dies in Kosovo/First suspicions about the incident

A Kosovo Police officer lost his life this Friday in Pristina. The news was confirmed by the Police spokesperson for the Pristina region.

As reported, the incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on "Ahmet Korenica" street in the capital of Kosovo.

After arriving at the scene, emergency doctors pronounced the 47-year-old man with the initials AT dead.

"Around 14:45, we received information about a lifeless body on "Ahmet Korenica" street in Pristina. The police immediately went to the scene, as well as emergency doctors who determined the death of the victim, a male, 47 years old, police officer," the announcement states.

So far, it is suspected that the death is the result of suicide, but investigations are still ongoing to clarify the full circumstances and reasons for the event./CNA
