Trump does not rule out meeting with Putin: If it happens, it will be held in Budapest

US President Donald Trump hosted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the White House today. Trump spoke to reporters about the possibility of another meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said that if he were to schedule another meeting with Putin, he would do it in Budapest.

"I would like to hold it in Hungary, in Budapest. At that meeting, it turned out that I didn't want to do it, because I didn't think anything significant would happen. But if we do, I would like to do it in Budapest ," Trump said.

In response to reporters' questions, Trump said he was considering exempting Hungary from Russian oil and gas sanctions.

"Of course, we're looking at it, because it's very difficult for them to get oil and gas from other areas. As you know, they don't have the advantage of having a sea. It's a great country, it's a great country, but they don't have a sea. They don't have the ports. And so they have a difficult problem," Trump said. /CNA
