Skanadali në PE/ Greqia tregohet

Me dy hetime paralelisht kundër kandidimit të saj, një në Belgjikë dhe një nëGreqi, eurodeputetja Eva Kaili do të dalë të enjten para autoriteteve belge, të cilat do të vendosin nëse do ta caktojnë ose jo në paraburgim në lidhje me skandalin “Katargate”.

Sipas mediave greke nëse Kaili shpallet fajtore edhe në Greqi, dënimi i dhënë nga autoritetet gjyqësore vendase do të jetë më i rëndë se në Belgjikë ku dënimet për krimet për të cilat ajo akuzohet arrijnë nga tre deri në maksimum pesë vjet.

Në Greqi, Kaili po hetohet nga prokurorët dhe Autoriteti i Pastrimit të Parave. Ata po përpiqen të konstatojnë nëse ajo ka sjellë para të padeklaruara nga jashtë dhe i ka investuar në Greqi dhe në veçanti në pasuri të paluajtshme.

Nëse dalin prova që tregojnë për keqbërje dhe ajo shpallet fajtore, ajo mund të përballet me 15 vjet burg. Ajo do të gjykohet fillimisht në Belgjikë dhe më pas në Greqi./ CNA.al
