The US gives 400 million dollars in military aid to Ukraine

The United States has authorized an additional $400 million in military aid to Ukraine, including weapons, ammunition and air defense equipment, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.

"The artillery munitions, air defense missiles and tactical tools that we are offering will best serve Ukraine on the battlefield," said Blinken, writes the BBC.

The deal will include more than 200 generators to help Ukraine cope with power outages caused by Russia's attacks on energy infrastructure. They are "intended to support civilian and military power needs" and are intended to ease pressure on the network, Pentagon press secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder said.
