Scholz is for better citizenship rules

Chancellor Olaf Scholz stressed that Germany needs a better regulation of the citizenship law. Scholz said that the women and men as well as the children who have come to Germany in recent decades "have contributed a lot to the economy being as powerful as it is today". Some of these people have been living "for a very, very long time" in Germany and already have children and grandchildren here. So it is "very good" if they decide to apply for German citizenship.

Reformimi i ligjit për dhënien e nënshtetësisë është planifikuar nga koalicioni qeverisës mes socialdemokratëve, ekologjistëve dhe liberal-demokratëve  në marrëveshjen e koalicionit. Mbi këtë bazëministrja e Brendshme Nancy Faeser deklaroi të premten (25.11) reformën e ligjit të nënshtetësisë. Të huajat dhe të huajt që jetojnë në Gjermani në të ardhmen mund të marrin një pasaportë gjermane pas pesë vjetësh të qendrimit në vend.
