Russia denies that Lavrov was hospitalized

The Russian Foreign Ministry denied reports that the head of this ministry, Sergei Lavrov, has been hospitalized.

The Associated Press news agency reported that Lavrov was taken to hospital after arriving in Bali, Indonesia, where he was to attend the G20 summit of the most industrialized countries.

AP said the news was confirmed by three Indonesian government officials and several doctors.

They declined to be identified, as they were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter, AP said.

Two of the sources said Lavrov was being treated for heart problems.

Officials at the Russian Embassy in Bali were not available for comment.

Zëdhënësja e Ministrisë së Jashtme ruse, Maria Zakharova, i cilësoi raportet si “kulmi i falsifikimit”.

Sipas raporteve të agjencisë së lajmeve Reuters, guvernatori i Balit tha se Lavrov është në gjendje të mirë shëndetësore dhe se ka qenë në spital për një kontroll.
