White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt stated in a press conference that US President Donald Trump and the national security team are steadfast in ending the war in Ukraine.
Leavitt said the proposed scheme involved both sides. She said special envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio drafted the plan this month.
Karoline Leavitt said that Witkoff has studied what both sides want to achieve a lasting peace in Ukraine and that the plan is still evolving.
"We are having good conversations with both sides ," she said./ CNA
