Physical fight and gunfire in Podujeva/ One person injured

Physical clashes and gunfire were recorded today in Podujeva. The incident occurred around 14:30, while one person was injured by being hit with hard objects, who was taken to the hospital for medical assistance.

The news was confirmed by the Kosovo Police spokesperson for the Pristina Region, Flora Ahmeti. She also announced that 4 people have been taken to the police station in connection with the incident, while investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances and causes of the incident.

"Upon receiving the information, the police went to the scene of the incident, where they were informed that as a result of being beaten with a hard object (a stick), a person was injured and was sent for necessary medical treatment. Regarding this case, the police have escorted four people to the police station, including 1 witness and three suspects who were involved in the case," she said. /CNA
