After the intense war there is a referendum/ Which territories will Russia take

In the regions of eastern Ukraine held by Moscow, voting has begun for referendums to become part of Russia.

The results are seen as a foregone conclusion in favor of annexation, and Ukraine and its allies have made it clear they will not recognize the results.
