Another earthquake hits Turkey, citizens panic

In the morning hours, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 hit central Turkey, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

The earthquake was at a depth of 12 km. 

The epicenter of the earthquake was in Kozan, about 64 kilometers from the city of Adana. The earthquake felt in the center of the city and the surrounding areas has caused panic among the citizens, who have taken to the streets.

Authorities have not reported any injuries or property damage. 

The seismic tremors come a few months after the devastating February earthquakes in this country and in some parts of northern Syria, where more than 50,000 people lost their lives.
