Nisur nga Brazili/ Policia spanjolle sekuestron 10 ton kokainë në një anije mallrash, 13 të arrestuar

Policia spanjolle ka deklaruar sot se gati 10 ton kokainë janë sekuestruar javën e kaluar në një anije që transportonte kripë në Oqeanin Atlantik. Ky është cilësuar si sekuestrimi më i madh i bërë ndonjëherë nga shërbimet e policisë spanjolle në det të hapur.

Operacioni u krye nga njësitë speciale të policisë spanjolle, të cilat kapën anijen e mallrave me flamur të Kamerunit të lidhur me një organizatë shumëkombëshe të trafikimit të drogës ndërsa ajo lundronte në Oqeanin Atlantik me destinacion Evropën nga Brazili.

"Trembëdhjetë persona u arrestuan gjatë operacionit dhe droga, e cila ishte e ndarë në 294 çanta, u sekuestrua, si dhe një revolver", shtoi policia, sipas së cilës sasia e saktë e drogës së fshehur në një ngarkesë kripe në anije arriti në saktësisht 9,994 kilogramë.

DEA e SHBA-së, agjencia federale në SHBA përgjegjëse për luftimin e trafikut të drogës, si dhe autoritetet franceze, portugeze dhe braziliane bashkëpunuan për zhvillimin e operacionit. /CNA
