Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated today that the damage from the political impasse in Kosovo is great, due to the lack of a constitution in the country.

In a statement to journalists during a visit to a UCCK clinic, Kurti said that citizens should wait a little longer, until the Constitutional Court reviews the case.

Kurti said that whatever the solution, the Court's verdict will be respected.

"I think we should wait a few more days, they will let us know what they think will happen after 30 days. I don't know what the solution will be, of course, but we have said that we respect the ruling of the Constitutional Court. It is a great loss that Kosovo does not have an Assembly," Kurti said.

At the end of last month, the Constitutional Court ordered MPs not to take any decisions or actions until August 8 regarding the establishment of the Assembly. /CNA
