Orban: NATO is getting closer to war every week

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has again attacked the Special Prosecutor's Office for its work in the criminal prosecution and trial of war criminals even in their absence.
Kurti said that the indictments filed for trial in absentia for war crimes "can be counted on the fingers". According to him, the Special Prosecutor's Office should be more active and efficient to bring criminals to justice.
"In our efforts for justice for the victims of the 1998-1999 war, addressing Serbia's crimes committed in Kosovo must be a priority. From all the massacres there are witnesses and testimonies, which the Prosecution would have to turn into evidence files for indictments for war crimes. The Republic and the people need active and wise prosecutors, and an efficient and knowledgeable court, to bring to justice all those who are responsible for the crimes committed during the war. The government has increased the budget, so we call for the Prosecution Council to urgently increase the capacities for addressing war crimes", Kurti wrote on social networks.
It is not the first time that Kurti criticizes the Special Prosecutor's Office. Several times he has criticized this prosecution, as well as Chief Prosecutor Blerim Isufaj. His criticisms were also for the handling of the terrorist attack in Banjska./ CNA
