The first grain ship from Ukraine passes inspection/ Heads to Lebanon

The first grain ship to leave Ukraine and cross the Black Sea passed inspection in Istanbul on Wednesday and is headed for Lebanon.

Ukraine said 17 other ships had been "loaded and were awaiting permission to leave", but there was no word yet on when they might depart.

A joint civilian inspection team searched for three hours the cargo and crew of the Sierra Leone-flagged ship Razoni, which left Odesa on Monday carrying Ukrainian corn, a United Nations statement said.
