The Basic Court in Pristina found guilty and sentenced a person to imprisonment, on charges related to terrorism, more specifically for organizing and participating in terrorist groups.

Convict HS was sentenced to four years and eight months of imprisonment, only six months after he had returned to Kosovo.

Sipas gjykatës, “i akuzuari me datë 23.11.2015, së bashku me bashkëshorten e tij dhe vajzën e mitur përmes aeroportit ndërkombëtar “Adem Jashari” në Prishtinë kishte udhëtuar për në qytetin e Stambollit të Turqisë dhe përmes lidhjeve të caktuara kishte depërtuar në Siri, me qëllim që ti bashkëngjitet organizatës terroriste “ISIS”.

Në vendimin e Gjykatës Themelore të Prishtinës thuhet se i dënuari H.S. “është angazhuar si pjesëtar i “ISIS-it”, si administrator në Byronë e ushtarëve të plagosur nën administrimin e “ISIS-it”, është financuar nga “ISIS” me shumën e të hollave prej nga 100 dollarë amerikanë në muaj, duke bashkëpunuar edhe me eprorë dhe luftëtarë të “ISIS-it”, si Lavdrim Muhaxheri etj, e që më pastaj është dorëzuar tek Forcat Demokratike Siriane”, thuhet në komunikatë.

During the last ten years, Kosovo has faced numerous cases of radicalism and several hundred of its citizens had become part of extremist organizations in the Syrian war.

Over 70 people have lost their lives, while hundreds have returned from Syria over the years.

Authorities in Kosovo believe that around 90 people are still in Syria, among them few fighters and more women and children./ VOA
