Skender Arapi: Because the police will protect his employee, without any evidence or fact, and we will be arrested.

Skender's punishment was accompanied by problems and procedural violations, since there was no evidence of his violence, but the opposite was proven. The three levels of the judiciary gave the right to Skender Arapi, who opened a process for compensation for the days spent in prison, a total of 8 months of unjust isolation.

It took Skendera 9 years to be recognized by the Administrative Appeal, an institution that halved the amount.

Skender Arapi: We in the police have not made any kind of statement.

-You haven't signed any document?

Skender Arapi: We did not sign because there was no evidence. If there was evidence, the Crime Chief wouldn't let you. No police officer came to ask us questions.

-How have you been convicted, based on what evidence?

Skender Arapi: During all the hearings, a very senior lady judge did not use it as a basis to convict us because there was no evidence. She dismissed the case. An appeal was made to the Appeal. The Appeals judge told me what she is looking for, I told her I am looking for the decision of the First Instance. Then the prosecutor of the case is taken to drag this thing out, appeals to the Supreme Court. Because he was guilty. The Supreme Court with 5 judges gave us our right.

At this moment, Skenderi turned to the State Enforcement to receive the prison money, the execution of which was undertaken by the director of Tirana, Pjeter Caka. But the latter has not done his duty since March 2023.
