This afternoon, a shopping center in Lushnje, located between two buildings, was engulfed in fire.

The flames have also spread to the two multi-story buildings. Many people have been evacuated from the buildings while the mission continues again.

More than 25 people were sent to the hospital as a result of asphyxiation from the smoke. Shqiponja and RENEA forces also took part in the rescue operation.

According to what is reported, RENEA is entering the second, 7-story building where they are checking every floor for people trapped inside the building.

The intensity of the fire has decreased, but the flames are still not extinguished.

Meanwhile, Minister Taulant Balla, Deputy Erion Braçe, Mayor Eriselda Sefa, Head of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, Doctor Skënder Brata and Minister Albana Koçiu are at the scene.
