The member of the National Council of DP, Ilir Alimehmeti, considers the local elections as the real challenge of the opposition coalition against the regime that has captured everything.

During an interview, Alimehmeti said that a radical change must be made, and that there should be openness not only to allies but also to sympathizers, the gray layer, the people, in order to reach a pre-election coalition.

"Duhet një ndryshim radikal, hapje jo vetëm ndaj aleatëve, por edhe ndaj simpatizantëve, shtresës gri, popullit, për të arritur në një koalicion parazgjedhor sepse duhet të jemi gati në momentin e primareve këto biseda duhet të jenë të konkluduara. S'mund të shkosh në primare para se të kesh mbaruar punët brenda shtëpisë, koalicionit. Këtu mund të shkojmë me një front të gjerë, përtej logjikës të djathtë dhe të majtë”, tha Alimehmeti.

Alimehmeti më tej tha se duhet të jenë të gjithë të bashkuar kundër një regjimi.

“Kjo s’prek vetëm anëtarët e PD-së, por shtrenjtimi i çmimit të energjisë elektrike i prek të gjithë. Elementi kyç është shoqëria civile, të gjithë kundër një regjimi që na sjell në një ditë dëshpëruese”, u shpreh Alimehmeti.
