The den of prostitution in Lezha is discovered.

The police informs that the investigations have revealed that citizen Krenar (Bashkim) Lika had adapted his bar for the practice of prostitution and the sale of narcotics.

The police arrested 2 people, detained two others. Meanwhile, KK, 23 years old, is wanted.

During the police action, doses of suspected narcotics cocaine and heroin were seized, together with the amount of 8,000 euros and a vehicle.

As a result of the investigations carried out for several weeks, with proactive methods, by the Narcotics Investigation Sector in DVP Lezhë, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Lezhë, DVP Lezhë finalized the coded police operation "Fazani". Within this operation:

- citizen Krenar (Bashkim) Lika, 46 years old, resident of Malbardhe, Kurbin, was arrested in the act for the criminal offenses of "Owning premises for prostitution", "Exploitation of prostitution" and "Production and sale of narcotics";

- the 42-year-old citizen Blerina Leti, resident of Bulqiza, was arrested in the act for the criminal offense of "Prostitution";

- 32-year-old citizen Ahmet Rizvani, a resident of Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", carried out in cooperation;

- citizens Alketa Volaj, 37 years old, living in Lezhë, Vjollca Haka, 30 years old, living in Pristina, and Klaudia Oshafi, 20 years old, living in Laç, were arrested for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime".

A search was announced and the work continues for the capture of the citizen KK, 23 years old, resident of Kurbin, for the criminal offense "Production and distribution of narcotics", carried out in cooperation.

From the investigative actions and the operational actions carried out during the operation, it was discovered that the citizen Krenar (Bashkim) Lika had adapted his bar for the practice of prostitution and for the sale of narcotics.

During the check in the premises of the bar, dozens of doses of suspected narcotics cocaine and heroin were found, which were seized as material evidence, together with the amount of 8000 euros and a vehicle.

Investigations continue for the complete documentation of these criminal activities. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
