Historian Kastriot Dervishi reveals the number of spies that Albania had in 1989.

In a message published on his Facebook page, the historian Dervishi states that the secret espionage network consisted of 14,372 collaborators, who were divided into two categories, material recruits and willing recruits.

-861 residents

-1200 agents

-10339 informants

-1972 host

The informants (10,339 people) were divided into two categories of people:

-5000 recruited with coercive material and coercion coming from the persecuted classes.
