Investigations and denunciations for the famous "5D" file have been going on for a long time, where several key directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj, his most active people and supporters in the campaign have been involved.

A big investigation that started with the report of Mariglen Qato, where the opposition published some documents, where they accused the Director of IMT, Mariglen Qato, of having employed his family members in key positions in the Municipality.

According to the complaint, Qato has won dozens of tenders with his company 5D, has received construction permits for several buildings in Tirana, and is investing millions of euros from this business in a luxury hotel in Durrës.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha claims that SPAK has been in possession of the conversations of the 5D company in the WhatsApp group for several months and has also directed his accusations against the mayor Erion Veliaj, whom he says gives clear orders on how much they take and steal from tenders.

"For more than 3 months, all conversations of the company '5D' in the Whatsapp group have been captured. In these conversations, Erion Veliaj gives clear orders, steal this and steal that, take this and take that with tenders, do this and do that," former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said, among other things, in his speech to supporters.

Today, CNA has denounced another flagrant case of private companies related to the Municipality of Tirana and its directors, whose family members benefit from business connections or tenders, bringing the case of Sokol Tusha, the brother of the imprisoned director of Erion Veliajt, Taulant Tusha.
