The Police of Tirana, on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year 2024 - 2025, in cooperation with the Regional Education Directorate of Tirana, the leaders of the schools of the district of Tirana, the teaching staff and the security officers in the schools, has been maximally engaged and has undertaken a series of measures, to guarantee the beginning of the new school year and create an environment as safe as possible for every student.

During the first day of school, in all schools of Tirana district, services from the Tirana Traffic Police Station, services of the General Patrol, Special Force "Shqiponja", services of the Crime Investigation Section, for the continuity of the learning process, in terms of the duties of the Police, in terms of order and security.

The Police Services of Tirana have contacted school leaders and school security officers, and will be on full alert 24/7, to coordinate actions, in order to prevent the penetration of negative phenomena in schools, and to immediate intervention to prevent any criminal activity that affects the safety of students.

The Tirana Police appeals to parents and every driver to, on Monday, 09.09.2024, limit the movement of vehicles in the vicinity of schools, in order for traffic to continue normally and traffic to be avoided.

The General Patrols and the services of the Traffic Police, every morning, during the long break and at the end of the lesson, will be present in schools and on road axes, with the aim of increasing road safety parameters.
