The General Director of Albanian Radio and Television, Alfred Peza, has resigned from his position. 

It is learned that Peza has irrevocably resigned from this position. He stayed in this job position for more than a year, after being elected as the head of RTSH in June 2023. 

The way Peza ran this institution was criticized a lot. CNA has reported dozens of news where mass dismissals of employees and abuses of funds or projects in this institution have been denounced. 

What did you declare 6 months ago? 

In March of this year, news circulated in the media that the General Director of RTSH, Alfred Peza resigned from this post.

Immediately, there was no lack of a reaction from Peza himself, who received the news. For "Koha Jonë", he said that he will remain in office until the end of his mandate in 2028.

"I have not resigned, you have me here until June 15, 2028", said Alfred Peza. So he vowed that he would complete his 5-year term at the head of this institution.
