VIDEO-Trailer and a car service station engulfed in flames, extensive material damage

Two fires were recorded during the evening and early morning hours in the Lezha district, causing significant material damage, while fortunately no injuries were reported.

The first case occurred on the National Road, at kilometer 34, where a truck trailer transporting fuel caught fire.

Thanks to the quick response of the Mirdita fire service, the fire was neutralized in time, avoiding the risk of the flames spreading and the possible consequences, despite the large amount of fuel in the vehicle.

The second fire broke out at around 01:30 in the village of Shullaz in Kurbin, where flames engulfed a car repair shop owned by a 48-year-old man. As a result, two vehicles and a quantity of tires were burned, causing considerable material damage.

In both cases, the investigation team is continuing its actions to clarify the causes of the fire and complete legal documentation of the events./ CNA
