According to journalist Eni Ferhati, the High Inspectorate of Justice will have to see the decision to release Shpati Lena.

Lena is one of the victims of the assassination attempt that took place on Thursday morning in Panaja, Vlora.

He was wanted for supporting the perpetrator of the crime in an earlier event, he was arrested in March and after 5 months he was found free, on the street, but as a victim of an assassination attempt.

The journalist said that he was not aware of how the courts argued for his release, but according to him, the position of the prosecution must be seen.

"We are in the conditions where the High Inspector of Justice must be set in motion to control and verify the procedures that have been followed in this case from his arrest to his release," Ferhati said in "Euronews Albania".

Shpati Lena and Hakim Xhezo are the victims. The murder took place around 09:30 on the Fier-Vlora highway, as their vehicle was fired at with a barrage of bullets from another moving vehicle.
