The expert's call: Military infrastructures should be used for tourism
Security expert, Ardian Shtuni

Security expert Ardian Shtuni said in an interview for Euronews Albania that if there is an increased interest of tourists in military infrastructures then they should be used for tourism.

"I know exactly that there is a lot of interest, and from my friends, when they hear about all that military infrastructure, those tunnels, those bunkers. There is an infrastructure that was built for war, but can be used for peace," Shtuni said.

This would also increase economic income, according to the expert, who proposed to take into consideration the attraction of foreigners to these countries.

Among other things, he added that this is not difficult to realize since most are not objects of particular importance and can easily be returned to be accessible to the public.
