Studentët serbë Borivoje Llaziç dhe Nevena Zhivançeviç, të cilët studiojnë gjuhën shqipe në Beograd, thonë se shqipen e kanë dëgjuar fillimisht nga këngët.
Në një intervistë për Euronews Albania ata treguan se kontakti i parë me shqipen kishin qenë këngët, që siç treguan dëgjohen shumë në Serbi.
“Mësova shqip përmes këngëve, në një çast mendova pse mos ta studioj në universitet se desha të njoh më mirë Shqipërinë, dhe s’doja të besoja gjërat që kam dëgjuar. Njerëzit në Serbi po e dëgjojnë më shumë muzikën shqiptarë. Në klubet e natës në Beograd, dëgjohen këngëtarë shqiptarë si Dhurata Dora, Elvana, Noziy”, tha Nevena.
Në Kosovë është zhvilluar edicioni i 40 i seminarit ndërkombëtar për Gjuhën, Letërsinë dhe Kulturën Shqiptare, në Fakultetin Filologjik në Prishtinë. Ky seminar ka nisur në 15 gusht e do të zgjasë deri më datë 26. Të pranishëm në këtë seminar kanë qenë dhe studentë nga Serbia.
