The continuous explosions in the factory for the production of small canisters have become a serious concern for the residents of Porto Romano in Durrës.

Yesterday, residents say that there were other explosions that caused panic in the area.

Today, a representative of the residents turned to the institutions to find a solution for the removal of deposits from the area.

One of the residents told "Abc News" that they appealed to the prefecture and the city hall, but were ignored by the leaders.

The residents ask for measures to be taken and a possible tragedy to be avoided, since as they say, if an incident like the one a few days ago happens again, the whole area will be extinguished by the explosion. Their only request is that the company that installed the gas tanks leave that place.

Two weeks ago, a fire broke out in this place during the process of filling gas cylinders of different sizes. The fire was quickly brought under control, avoiding a potential catastrophe. The vehicles of the city's fire station also helped to put out the fire, while the latter punished the "Power Gas" company with an administrative measure.
