Salaries increase/ Minister of Justice gives good news for the prison police

Today it was announced that the basic salary of prison officers will increase by 13,700 ALL.

The news was announced by the General Director of Prisons, Admir Abrija, who said that 3560 prison police officers will benefit from this increase. 

The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, was also present at this meeting held at IEVP Fier, where he stated that from September 1, prison police salaries are equal to those of the state police.


"The reason for the meeting at the IEPP of Fier was the presentation of some good works and some reforms that we have undertaken for several months as the Minister of Justice with the Directorate of Prisons in all the IEPPs of the country. Today we presented the reforms we had promised since July, the new uniforms for the employees and the new salaries for the prison police and prison police staff are already a reality and have started their financial effects since September 1 of this year," said Manja./ CNA.al
