"Revenge"/ SPAK's crackdown on 7 criminal groups, investigations

SPAK has completed investigations into members of seven criminal groups that were hit by justice as part of the codenamed Operation Revanshi.

SPAK has communicated the charges against the defendants and is expected to refer them to the Court for trial.

This operation targeted criminal groups operating in various cities such as Lezhë, Durrës, Krujë, Tirana, Vlorë and Burrel.

Part of them were officials such as the director of the Lezha Police, Henerigert Mitri, and individuals connected to politics, including former MP Arben Ndoka and MP Eduard Ndreca's brother, Armando Ndreca.

SPAK announced that the operation hit Ervis Martinaj's group, which, in alliance with the group led by former SP MP Arben Noka, and with the help of Avdylaj's group in Durrës, recruited hired killers who carried out criminal acts mainly in the Fushë-Krujë and Burrel areas.

SPAK also seized assets worth over 4.5 million euros, including cash, armored vehicles, gold, and more.

8 murders and attempted murders have been solved, such as the murder of Shkëlzen Kastrati and the attempted murder of Preng Gjin, Durim Bami, Enrik Metra and others./ CNA
