SPAK announcement/ Three officials under investigation for corruption

SPAK has sent three Fier cadastre officials who are accused of corruption to trial. According to the announcement distributed by SPAK, the three officials Endri Ngresi, Ardjan Kumanaku and Afërdita Vidhi have ended up on trial.

At the end of the investigation, it emerged that the defendant Afërdita Vidhi, in collaboration with the defendant Ardjan Kumanaku, gave a monetary amount of 2000 (two thousand) euros to the defendant, Endri Ngresi, who was an employee at the Fier ASHK, in order to provide her with legalization documents for her house in Fier.

SPAK sends 3 defendants for trial for active and passive corruption offences

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has completed the preliminary investigations for criminal proceedings no. 17 of 2024 and has submitted to the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime the request for sending to trial the 3 defendants:

Endri Ngresi, employee of the ASHK Fier, accused of committing the criminal offense “Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions”, provided for by Article 259, paragraph 2, of the Criminal Code.
Ardjan Kumanaku, accused of committing the criminal offense “Active corruption of persons exercising public functions”, committed in collaboration, provided for by Article 244, paragraph 2 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
Afërdita Vidhi, accused of committing the criminal offense “Active corruption of persons exercising public functions”, committed in collaboration, provided for by Article 244, paragraph 2 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
At the end of the investigation, it emerged that the defendant Afërdita Vidhi, in collaboration with the defendant Ardjan Kumanaku, gave a monetary amount of 2000 (two thousand) euros to the defendant, Endri Ngresi, who was an employee at the ASHK Fier, in order to provide her with legalization documents for her house in Fier. /CNA
