The German Embassy in Tirana has reacted to the opening of Albania's negotiations with the European Union.
In a post on the social network Facebook, the embassy states that Albania must continue the reforms that have been started with determination, while adding that Germany will be a great supporter along the European road.
The embassy's post says: "There is a lot to do, let's get to work together."
"Congratulations to Albania for the start of EU membership talks! A historic moment and a major task for the government, the administration and all Albanians. Germany remains by Albania's side and in close cooperation with the EU and other member countries will support and accompany it on its further path. Reforms must continue with determination. Our diverse support for Albania has always contributed to the establishment of EU standards. There is a lot to do, let's get to work together!", says the embassy's reaction./ CNA.al
