The police of Shkodra have arrested a 38-year-old man with the initials OS, after he was caught red-handed in the village of Vukpalaj, transporting 2 immigrants from Iran, who intended to cross the border illegally, for payment. 

Police notification:

He was caught red-handed in the village of Vukpalaj, transporting 2 immigrants from Iran, who intended to cross the border illegally, by vehicle, against payment, the 38-year-old man was arrested.

The services of the Bajze Border Police Station, following the work to combat the criminal activity of providing assistance to foreign citizens, against payment, for illegal border crossing, based on the information provided by the police, for such a case, have organized in cooperation with DVKM Shkodër, the coded police operation "Near", as a result of which the citizen was arrested in the act:

OS, 38 years old, resident in Tirana.

This citizen was caught in the act by the services of the Border Police, on the road of the village of Vukpalaj, transporting with the "BMW" type vehicle, against payment, 2 immigrants from Iran, who intended to cross the border illegally.

As material evidence, the vehicle and 2 mobile phones were seized.  The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
