The wall above collapses, seriously injuring a worker

A worker has an accident at the workplace in Pogradec and is in serious condition.

It is known from the preliminary information that the worker was injured after it is suspected that a part of the wall fell on him.

He was immediately transported to the city hospital, but his serious health condition has caused the doctors to take measures to transport him to the trauma hospital in Tirana.

The police are on the scene for a full clarification of the circumstances.

"At noon today, in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, citizen A. Xh., 27 years old, it is suspected that he accidentally fell during the work for the reconstruction of an apartment and was injured as a result.   

He is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced. / CNA
