The Durrës police have arrested a 33-year-old man with the initials AB, who was moving around armed with a pistol.

He was wanted by the Police of Tirana, for intentional murder, remaining in the attempt.

Police notification:

The firearm with the comb and 9 cartridges were seized.

As a result of the immediate administration of the information provided by the police intelligence, for a citizen who was moving armed in the city of Durres, the Durres Police Station, in cooperation with the Special Force "Shqiponja" of the Durres Local Police Directorate, finalized the police operation coded "Precedent".

During this operation, at the entrance of a building in neighborhood no. 11, citizen AB, 33 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested in the act.

From the control in the bag of the 33-year-old, the Police services found 1 firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, which was possessed without a permit.

Subsequently, after the verifications, it turned out that the AB citizen was wanted by the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, for the criminal offense of "Deliberate murder", still pending.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions./ CNA
