Fiscal Peace closes first phase, 19 businesses reach agreement with Taxes

The first phase of the Fiscal Peace process has concluded with 19 agreements reached between businesses and the tax administration.

According to data published by the General Directorate of Taxes, 62 applications were submitted during this period, while no suspected case of money laundering was identified.

The Fiscal Peace Process is conceived as an opportunity for businesses to formalize their income and activity, through a voluntary procedure accompanied by fiscal convenience. Within the framework of this scheme, entities also benefit from the application of a stimulating tax rate of 5%.

According to Taxation, the aim of this initiative is to increase transparency in the market, strengthen fair competition, and bring fiscal practices closer to European standards.

Businesses that did not apply in the first phase will have the opportunity to be included in the next application periods, scheduled for April 1–15, 2027 and April 1–15, 2028./ CNA
