The details from the statements to the police of the resident who saved the minor girl from the hands of the 71-year-old man with the initials PL in Maliq, who tried to sexually abuse the latter, are clarified. 

The resident stated to the officers that she saw horror with her own eyes, but did not allow the elderly man to commit the heinous act. 

"It was noon around 1:30 p.m., I saw an embarrassing situation from afar. PL had gone to the playground at the village school and had dragged the minor girl along with him. I know both of them are residents of the village, I go immediately there to see what was happening because from a distance I was horrified to see the old man half naked as well. He was about to have sex, he was pulling the minor girl I didn't let her go, I took the girl right away. Thankfully, the girl is fine, except that  the 71-year-old was punched twice by another resident after learning about the incident." the resident is said to have said. 

According to preliminary information, it was the girl's father who reported the case to the police.
