"Misusing the immigration system could result in visa denial"/ US

The US Embassy in Albania, through a statement, considers the use of a tourist visa to be born in America unacceptable.

The embassy post states that US consular officers reject all applications for such visas.

The embassy further warns that misuse of the immigration system may result in the loss of visa eligibility in the future.

“ It is unacceptable for foreign parents to use a U.S. tourist visa with the primary purpose of giving birth in the United States to secure citizenship for the child, which may include medical care expenses covered by U.S. taxpayers. This is known as “birth tourism,” and U.S. consular officers deny all such visa applications under U.S. immigration law. Those who abuse our immigration system through birth tourism may lose their eligibility for future visas or travel to the United States. This is yet another way the U.S. Department of State is serving and protecting American taxpayers and communities ,” the statement said./ CNA
