Bad weather/ 54 schools have suspended classes, 12 of them in Durrës

Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro announced that the teaching process has been interrupted in 54 schools across the country as a result of bad weather and flooding caused by rainfall.

Kumbaro emphasized that in Durrës, the teaching process has been interrupted in 12 schools, emphasizing that it will resume normally on Monday.

"We have interruptions to teaching in 12 schools in Durrës. Access has been difficult. They have been informed that teaching will start on Monday. In Lezha and Shkodra everything is in order. Problems in Vlora and Fier, Gjirokastër, we have had controlled interruptions to teaching, this for security reasons.

"Due to the frost, we decided not to put either teachers or students at risk. 54 schools have suspended classes today," Kumbaro declared./ CNA
