Clashes, tensions and debates took place today at the meeting of the Conference of Presidents. The bone of contention between the opposition and the majority this time was the mandate of deputy Olta Xhaçka.

We believe that an opinion from the Venice Commission will be useful to all of us, especially in a situation of conflict between two rights: the discretion of the deputies to express their free will in the session and the obligation to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court.
