Lawyer Adriana Kalaja has made strong accusations against the High Judicial Council (HJC) and judge Irena Gjoka, linking recent developments to the cases involving Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltez.

According to Kala, the way the judge's mandate is handled aims to avoid potential repercussions at the Strasbourg Court, while institutional decision-making is politically influenced. She has requested a review of previous decisions by the vetting bodies, warning that the issue has serious consequences for the credibility of the justice system.

Kalaja emphasizes that Judge Gjoka cannot be considered an ordinary citizen, being part of one of the most important courts, and has accused the Supreme Court of Kosovo of preventing her dismissal, creating a dangerous precedent for the justice system.

'To prevent Berisha and Maltez from winning their claims regarding the invalidity of the decision in the Strasbourg Court. So, if we go with a dismissal that will definitely go ahead and I guarantee the public that it will go ahead.
