The National Food Authority has hit another case of unlicensed activity in Korça, blocking over 2800 liters of alcoholic beverages.

A subject with the activity "Production of alcoholic beverages" exercised this activity in the absence of hygienic and sanitary conditions, unlabeled products and in the absence of the HAÇP manual.

In this subject, during the control exercised by AKU and the State Police, 2805 liters of alcoholic beverages were blocked, of which 1877 liters of wine, 537 liters of grape brandy, 351 liters of food alcohol and 40 liters of alcoholic beverages.

Also, in the absence of hygienic-sanitary conditions and required documentation, a fine of 14.5 million Lek was imposed on the subject.

" From the verification of controls in the subject, several legal violations were found, since the subject was exercising the activity in the absence of hygienic and sanitary conditions, unlabeled products and the absence of the HAÇP manual.

For these violations, the inspection body took the urgent measure of blocking the activity until its equipment with a license, also a total of 2805 liters of alcoholic beverages were blocked, of which 1877 liters of wine, 537 liters of grape brandy, 351 liters of food alcohol and 40 liters alcoholic drink. An administrative measure of "fine" in the amount of ALL 1,450,000 was taken for all the violations found. For further actions, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of the Korçë Judicial District ", says the AKU announcement.
