Illegal hunting/ The sorkadhja is trapped in the park of Prespa

Illegal hunting continues to be a disturbing phenomenon in our country.

Hunters set traps in protected areas and beyond, to catch wild animals.

Such a situation occurred in the area of ??Zaroshka, in the National Park of Prespa.

A toad has fallen into the trap set by unknown persons. The animal caught in the cage was found by the specialists of the Regional Administration of Protected Areas in Korça.

The rescue team went to the Zaroshka area and fortunately the sorkadhaja was released without serious consequences, which then returned to its habitat.

"During an inspection carried out by specialists in the area of ??Zaroshka in the Prespa National Park, a trapped Toad was tracked down.

Fortunately, the inspection team from AdZM Korçë has made it possible to find it in time, provide first aid and return the toad to its habitat", it is stated in the announcement of ADZM./ CNA
